Courts :

Reservation of Courts : A court Reservation Booking Register will be kept in the Club office. Subject to control of the Committee one or more grass and hard (synthetic) courts can be reserved by a member except for the afternoon of any general playing day at a charge of Rs.100/- per hourly session for each court. An advance Notice of 24 hours will generally be required for reservation of one or more courts and they will be available in strict priority of booking. If a member books a court, the member concerned must be present when the court is being used by him or on his behalf (but if the member's wife is playing, the presence of the member will not be essential.) Members reserving Courts for the purpose of playing Office League Matches, Inter- Club and Inter-Office Tournaments or any other competition will be charged Rs.500/- per court. The Club shall keep the courts in playing condition and provide all court requisites except balls. If any one member reserves more than two courts for a particular day and there are not sufficient courts available for other members who wish to make reservations for the same day, the Honorary Secretary shall on application to him cancel one or more courts reserved by a member in excess of two. Members reserving a court or courts may ask non-members to play and no charge shall be made in respect of such non-members.

Courts will be open for reservation by members and non-members every morning and evening except when the Committee require the courts for club purposes. A Reservation Booking Register will be kept in the club office and reservation will be made on the basis of first come first served. The hours of play and the court reservation charges will be fixed by the Committee from time to time. The Club shall keep the courts and lights in playing condition and provide all court requisites except balls. The Court reservation charges and playing times for Evening Tennis as well as Morning Tennis are presently as follows :

Lighted Court : Winter from 5.00 p m to 9.30 p m. Summer from 6.00 pm to 9.30 p m. Charges are Rs.150/- per hour.

Morning Tennis : Charges for members for each half an hour are Rs. 30/- and Rs.40 and Rs40/- Rs.50/-for non-members for clay and synthetic courts. Timings are 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. during winter & 5.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. during summer .
