Rules & Regulations
Dress :
For play on Club Courts: Tennis Shoes and Socks (white) and sleeved shirts with or without collar in plain white or designed on a predominantly white background must be worn during play. While shorts may be coloured, trousers must be white. Track suits or part thereof must not be worn when play commences on the Courts (except in the month of December & January). Sweaters and Pullovers must also be predominantly white. The above Dress Regulations are applicable to all who play on the Club Courts. Hosts must ensure that their guests are properly dressed before they are introduced for play.
Club Premises other than Tennis Courts: Bush Shirts/open neck Shirts/Sports shirt with collar and trousers or Dhoti with Kurta only to be worn. High neck T Shirt and Chinese collar Shirt with Blazer may be worn. While it is desirable that only Shoes are to be worn in the Club premises other than Tennis Courts, Sandals with straps can also be worn. Chappals with strap can be worn with Dhoti & Kurta. Footwear to be worn with Sherwani chosts and Princecoats. Shirts with round collar or without collar, high neck T Shirts and Chinese collar without coat or blazer are not be worn. Introduction Evenings : Committee Members, Proposers, Seconders and candidates for membership will wear Lounge suits/Jacket and trousers with Tie, Shoes & Socks between the months of November and February. During the months of March to October, Safari suits/Bush Shirts/Shirts with Collar and Trousers with Shoes & Socks will be worn. Lungis/Pyjamas and Kurta without Dhoti and two strap rubber chappals are not permitted to be worn in any part of the Club at any time.
