Memoirs of Mr. Ishwar N. Chaturvedi are being continued. His sharing of experience of osteoarthritis will help many of us in overcoming this painful disease. To avoid misunderstandings between members and officials, we are giving important “Rules and Regulations” of the club.

We appreciate the efforts of Mr. Giri Chaturevedi in compiling and sending an article on medicinal values of “Drinking of Water” which is included in “Do you Know” His definition of “Services” under “Today’s Fun” is an exposure of treatment of a commoner like you and me at the hands of the great bureaucracy of our country. Miss Charu Chaturvedi’s pictorial depiction of chalk arts under “Nature’s Gifts” is very soothing. All of us wish long successful lives to the twin grand sons of our old member and former Vice-President Mr. Niranjan Roy. Visit of His Excellency Governor of West Bengal, Mr.. S.S.Narayanan, to Mr. Roy’s party for friends at the club is shown under “Events”. It is very encouraging that members and their families, past members, outsiders are taking interest and are sending write ups on regular basis. Due to space constraint, their contributions can not be covered in one issue. We shall use them in due course.

We have a separate column for Feedback. Readers are requested to give their observations which will help in improving quality of the journal.

January to March is the period of celebrations. Our team prays for happiness to all for Republic Day, Basant Panchmi and Holi.

With warm regards.
